

Elois enjoyed doing hair, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. The time she shared with those she loved brought her great joy and created many treasured memories throughout her life.
Elois is survived by her children, Deborah Elois Gladden McWhorter (Larry McWhorter), John Stanford Gladden Jr., Linda Gail Caddell Kennemur (James Kennemur), and James Edward Caddell (Eddie); her sisters, Martha “Sis” Campo, Rose Sharp, and Ann Isabel; her grandchildren, Ryan McWhorter, Jared McWhorter, Amie (Nicole) Thomas Kennemur, Amielee Caddell Kilgore, and Mary Ann Caddell; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by John Gladden Sr.; her son, James “Eddie” Caddell; James T. Caddell; and many siblings.
Visitation will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, Alabama 35071, on August 21, 2026, at 2:00 pm. followed by a Celebration of Life service at 3:00pm
Final Resting Place will be at Stewart's Chapel Cemetery, 2441 Old Hayden Road, Warrior, Alabama 35180.
