Angie was born on March 5, 1965 to the late Mr. Earl Hicks and Mrs. Argie Melvin Hicks. She was a member of Warrior Holiness Tabernacle Church. Angie loved caring for her family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Angie is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Mark Mayes; her dearest daughter, Megan Joy Mayes; her brothers and their wives; Grant and Denise Hicks, Graylon and Monicca Hicks, Gordon and Michele Hicks; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Argie Hicks; and her brother and his wife, Gary and Martha Hicks.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Warrior, Alabama.
