MRS. ANITA LOUISE BENTON, age 85, of Gardendale, AL, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert R. Benton, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Landers; son, Robbie (Karen) Benton; grandchildren, Ryan Benton, Kevin (Elyse) Benton, Kayle (Brandon) Meadows, and Lara Landers; great granddaughters, Madelyn, Ella, and Olivia Benton.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, Jason Shackleford and Andrew Smith officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 5:00 until 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the ALS Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
