Annette Beasley McKee

Annette was born November 6th, 1932 in Geneva, Alabama. She graduated from Alabama Christian College, where she met Pete McKee. She was married to Pete for over 50 years and was the mother of six children with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a devoted Bible student and a Master Gardener and will be missed by family and friends.

Annette was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Lottie Beasley, her loving husband, Alton "Pete" McKee; a son, Mark McKee, and a sister, Nellie Rae Lewis.

Annette is survived by her children, Tim McKee, Mary Blount (Sam), David McKee (Susan), Philip McKee (Christine), and Sarah Deason (Bill); brother, Tommy Beasley; sister, Gail Pelham; grandchildren, Brandon McKee, Jarrod McKee, Dillon McKee, Logan McKee, Jasmine McKee, Sam Blount, Jr., Gardner Blount, Millie Sullivan, Ashley Bailey, Max McKee, Matt McKee, Pete McKee, Ruth McKee, Mark McKee, Beth Chandler, Abby Deason, and Riley Deason; several other family members and many friends.

Services for Annette will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, with a time of visitation to begin at 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. Annette will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Services will be officiated by Rev. Bryon Gibson along with Tim Chandler and David McKee.
