In her 92 years, she has been a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, granny, and friend. She loved the Lord, her family and her friends dearly, and was a true prayer warrior. She was a member of Holiness Mission Tabernacle in Warrior, AL. She was well known for "Granny's cooking" and everyone had their favorites...cornbread, fried chicken, peanut butter and coconut cakes, to name a few. While our hearts are hurting, we also rejoice to know she has received her heavenly reward. Although we will miss her smiles, sassiness, and laughter, the memories of hearing her pray for each of us is what we cherish the most.
Celebration of Life Services for Argie will be held Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, with a time of visitation from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM; the service will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by her burial at Masseyline Church of God Cemetery, 4109 Masseyline Church Rd, Pinson, Alabama 35126.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ridoutsgardendalechapel.com for the Hicks family.
