Arley Rayburn Adams

Arley was a retired Pressman and worked at Southern Coupon Company for over 30 years. He loved restoring and driving antique cars and trucks and going to car shows. He regularly displayed and drove his antique vehicles in the Christmas parades around the North Jefferson area. He attended Gardendale schools and Mortimer Jordan High School.

Arley is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sue Adams, and his five children, Brenda Mitchell, Ron Adams (Joy), Peggy Reid, Rhonda Zarzaur (Mark) and Patty Mills; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; his brother, Michael Adams (Katrine) and his sister Debbie Painter (Rod).

Arley is preceded in death by F. A. and Jewel Adams, his parents, Minnie Ola Benefield, his grandmother and Randy Adams, his brother, and a son-in-law, David Reid.

The family will celebrate Arley's life on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 2pm. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM at Ridouts Gardendale Chapel, Gardendale, AL, with a funeral service at 2:00 PM. His burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
