Barbara Olivia (Comer) Kelley

Barbara Olivia (Comer) Kelley, age 89 of Kimberly, passed from death into eternal life with her Savior on August 14, 2021. She was a faithful member of Kimberly First Baptist Church; a loving and devoted wife, mother and “Maw-Maw.” She was preceded in death by her husband John Walter Kelley, Jr., son-in-law, Dean Allen and parents, Hazel Thomas Thompson and Herbert Hall Comer. Survived by daughters, and sons-in-law Wanda & Ben Allen, Diane Allen, Patricia Brown and Lisa and Mike Beasley. Grandchildren and spouses-Eric Allen, Kelley & Jeff Chandler, Jeremy Allen, Jonathan & Jackie Brown, Heather & John Congleton, Clint & Kaylynne Brown, Jason & Helen Beasley and Caleb & Tracey Beasley. Great grandchildren- Mac, Trevor, Tyler, Tanner, Kyleigh, Rhett, Tripp, Kaili, Emily, Jake, Callie, Elias, Nora, Ellie and baby Truett (arrival in November). Sister-in-law Adelene Kelley, a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.

Bro. Doyal Creel and Bro. Gary Creel will officiate services.

The family would like to thank the staff of Magnolia Ridge for their care during her brief stay. We would also like to thank the staff at UAB Emergency-Gardendale for the care and comfort shown to mother and to our family.
