

A lifelong resident of Tarrant, Bert was a proud graduate of Tarrant High School. He found great joy in the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. His passion for hunting led him to establish Buck Creek Hunting Club, Inc., where he spent countless hours enjoying nature and fellowship with friends.
Bert was a devoted man of faith and a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He faithfully studied the scriptures throughout his life, reading the Holy Bible multiple times and completing the Book of Mormon twice. His unwavering testimony and dedication to his faith were guiding principles that shaped his life and inspired those around him.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Kayla Bowman of Tarrant, Alabama; brother, Franklin A. Norred; sister, Bertha Tucker; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert Norred and Velma Miller, brother, Burton Lee Norred, and sisters, Mary Poole and Shemya Butts.
Bert will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his steadfast faith, and the quiet strength and kindness he shared with everyone who knew him. His legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the memories that will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
