Betty Ann Warren Malone

October 6, 1935 – May 30, 2017

Betty, a resident of Gardendale, AL, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 81. She was a member of Gardendale Mt. Vernon Methodist. Betty was a pastor’s wife, married to Carl Malone a Methodist pastor for 52 years before he passed in 2003 and she faithfully served the Lord by his side throughout their ministry.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Sarah Warren; husband, Carl; her daughter, Carla Garaca; brothers, Clarence Warren and R.H. Warren, Jr.

Betty is survived by her son, Patrick Malone (Charlotte); brothers, Charles Warren (Elizabeth), and J.T. Warren (Mary Ann); sister, Nancy Hughes (Bill); grandchildren, Patrick William Malone (Brandi) and Cara Mia Garaca(Nick); sister-in-law, Nell Malone, and a host of family and friends. The family extends special thanks to her niece, Rachel Harris (Tim) and the staff of St. Vincent’s Hospice for their love and care of Betty.

Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Friday, June 2, 2017 with a visitation to begin at 10:00am; funeral service at 11:00am followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
