Betty J. Glenn

.Betty J. Glenn, age 84 passed away on Monday, March 14th, 2016. She was preceded by her husband of 55 years, Clyde Glenn: mother, Jewel Harper; and her son, Michael Glenn. She is survived by her son Gary (Karen) and her grandson, Joel. Betty was a wonderful wife and mother who was very much loved. She was most selfless as shown by her dedication of 47 years in caring for her invalid son, Michael. She was a lifelong member of Fultondale Baptist Church where she taught Children’s Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for 25 years. Mother is definitely in Heaven with her family and children sharing her wonderful stories. We love you Mother! Many heartfelt thanks to the staff and management at Covenant Place in Gardendale, Columbiana Health and Rehab in Columbiana, and New Beacon Hospice. May God richly bless you all.

Services will be held Friday, March 18th, 2016 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 1 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Holly Pond Cemetery in Cullman County.
