

Betty retired from AT&T after 30 years of service. She was a member of Evangel Assembly of God, Mt. Olive. She was the caregiver for her parents for many years. She was a wonderful, loving and kind person and the rock of Gibraltar for the entire family.
Betty was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Melvin Jordan; infant brother, Harold Jewel; brothers, John Craven and Dewey Craven; sisters, Hazel Brown and Ruth Stephens; nephew, Doug Stephens; and a niece, Linda Brown Davison.
Betty is survived by her brother, Gary Craven (Jean); sister, Sandy Perretta (Robert Lumpkin); numerous nieces, nephews, special nephew, Larry Kitts, and a host of friends. She will be greatly missed.
Special thanks to the staff of St. Vincent's Hospice, Stephanie, Dominique, Sherita, and Chaplian Wendal, and the rest the wonderful staff for their loving care and support.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on December 30, 2019 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with a time of visitation to begin at 1:00 pm; Service at 2:00 pm followed by her burial in Simcoe Cemetery, Cullman, AL. Services officiated by, Pastor Jerry Langford.
