Billie was born in Sneed, AL, and passed away peacefully at the age of 88. Billie was a long time resident of Smoke Rise, Al. She moved to Gardendale, AL, in 1996. She was a member of the Smoke Rise Methodist Church for many years and a member of Gardendale First Baptist church after she moved. She worked for America’s First Credit Union from 1966 until she retired in 1989.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Frachiseur and Louise F. Marchant and her loving husband, Johnnie Parsons. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Pickens (Hirston); grandson, Chris Pickens (Georgiann); great grandchildren, Camden Pickens and Brenden Pickens; and extended family and friends.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Tuesday, Sep 20, 2016, with a visitation to begin at 11:00am; funeral service at 1:00pm followed by her burial in Highland Memorial Gardens, Bessemer, AL.
