Billy Garner

He was preceded in death by parents, Ruel and Ottie Garner; brothers, Buck, J. W. and Ray Garner; sisters, Linnie Mae Johnson, Bonnie Hurst, Nell, Lenta Zoe Morrow, Martha, Jo Ellen Biddle.

Survivors include wife of 70 years, Peggy Garner; children, Randy Garner, Rhonda Snow and Renee Rousseau; 8 grandchildren and17 great grandchildren. Other who survived him include brother, Ruel Garner; sisters, Earline Burns, Judy Barnes and Janice .

Brother Billy served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1975 and retired with rank of Senior Master Sergeant. Upon retirement from Air Force he became a Minister of Education through Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served churches in Alabama for 40 years.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 10-11 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 in the Magnolia Hall.

Burial with honors will be at Alabama National Veterans Cemetery in Montevallo.
