Billy Neal Hyde, a resident of Foley, Alabama (formally of Gardendale) was born in Walker County, Alabama on February 11, 1940 and passed away peacefully on November 21, 2017 at the age of 77. Billy was a loving family man and he enjoyed the time he spent with his family. He was a member of the Foley First Baptist Church.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Prince Albert and Ester Blackwell Hyde; a brother, Wilfred Lee Hyde and a sister, Artie Mae Hyde.
Billy is survived by his loving wife, Bettye Glass Hyde; his daughter, Stephanie Hyde Gravlee (Barry); brother, Jerry Raburn Hyde; sisters, Monnie Windham and Gazell Kimbrell; grandchildren, Emily Faith Gravlee, Alex Hyde Gravlee, and John Louis Gravlee, and a host of friends and family.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 2:00pm in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, Alabama. There will be a memorial service at the Foley First Baptist Church at a later date.
