Billy Ferrell McKay, age 70 of Gardendale, Al passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. Billy served his country proudly in the US Army and was a veteran of the Viet Nam War. He was employed for over 20 years and loved his job with Wilson Machine Co. Billy was an avid fan of the University of Alabama Football team. Billy is survived by Cathy S. McKay; a brother, Ron Johnson; his son, Nathan Dale Sandlin; three grandchildren, Taylor Michelle Kimbrell, Ashlie Rhea Kimbrell, and Jess Daniel Sandlin.
Chapel services will be held on Friday, October 23rd, at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 2 PM with visitation 12 noon til service time. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
