Billy was born in 1932 to the late Louie Schultz, Sr. and Maybell Ford Schultz. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Reynolds and his brother, Louie Schultz, Jr.
Billy proudly served our country in the U.S. Army and he was stationed in Berlin, Germany. After his service he began a long successful career of selling Industrial Hardware across the southeast and retired after 50 years.
Billy was married to love of his life, Eunice Robinson Schultz for 70 years until she passed in November of 2022. He always had a story to tell to anyone who would listen. He never met a stranger and was full of mischief.
Billy is survived by his daughter, Norma Hicks, and her husband Butch Hicks; and a grandson whom he loved dearly, Joshua Hicks and a host of friends.
Services for Billy will be held Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A time of visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Rev. George Weeks will officiate. Billy will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Gardens following the service.
