Bonnie Ann Percer

She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert Carroll McLaughlin and Bonnie Alice Dodd McLaughlin, her loving husband of 49 years Luther “Luke” Andrew Percer, two daughters Sandra Carroll Percer, Barbara Alice Cope (Louis), and one granddaughter Penny Renae Morrison (Bruce).

She is survived by her daughter Debra Ann Butterfield (Jim) of Mobile, AL, and three sons David Andrew Percer, Jackie Jay Percer, and Tracy Clark Percer (Dena); all of Birmingham, AL

She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.

Bonnie was born and lived her entire life in Birmingham, AL. She attended Phillips High School and was a long-time, active member of the Tarrant Church of Christ.

She was employed as a machine operator by Union Envelope Co. until its closure and later worked for National Computer Print.

She enjoyed getting together with her lady friends, playing dominoes, and was an avid bowler.

Bonnie was a faithful woman of God and dearly loved her family and friends. She touched the lives of everyone she met and will be sorely missed. Anyone who knew this dear lady knew she was sweet, compassionate, and very resourceful. Heaven has been blessed with another angel.

Funeral services will be under the direction of Gardendale Ridouts - Gardendale, AL.

Visitation will be from 12:30 – 2:30pm at Gardendale Ridouts Chapel with funeral service at 2:30pm. Interment following at Forest Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, AL.
