Born January 1, 1946, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 29, 2012. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mount Olive and a member of the North Jefferson Quilting Guild. Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Don Jackson; 2 daughters: Sondra Jackson McDaniel and Rebecca Jackson Whitworth (Andy); 4 grandchildren: Braden McDaniel, Brooks McDaniel, Kelsey Whitworth, and Ethan Whitworth; 6 nephews; and 1 niece. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at The First Baptist Church of Mount Olive on Friday, November 2, 2012 beginning at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Doug Moore. Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Gardens following the service.
