Carolyn Lyon

Carolyn was a retired school teacher while living in Fresno California. She was a long time member of Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, J.T. Lyon, infant son, Thomas Lyon, parents James P. Wilson, Sr, and Dorothy L. Wilson; grandparents Mr. Henry and Vadie Littlepage of Choctaw County, Alabama. Carolyn is survived by her brother James P Wilson, Jr (Dorothy), Nephew Michael James Wilson (Chris), Niece Kimberly L Graffeo (Johnny), great nephew, Joshua A Green (Ashley), great niece, Shelli Turney and 2 great nephews and a sweet great niece.

A celebration of life visitation for Carolyn will be held Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A celebration of life service will occur Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A burial will occur at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama 35071.
