

Catherine "Cathi" Tressillian, age 75, of Warrior, Alabama, passed away on March 18, 2026. Born to the late Robert and Annie Mae McGill, Cathi lived a life defined by an extraordinary commitment to service, a sharp intellect, and an unwavering devotion to her family.
Cathi’s professional journey was a testament to her versatile talents and her desire to make a difference. Her adventurous spirit and patriotism led her to serve as a member of the Civil Air Patrol, and her passion for life-saving care drove her to become a certified EMT. She eventually transitioned into healthcare as a radiologist, where her technical skill and compassion provided comfort to countless patients over the years.
Beyond her professional achievements, Cathi was the heart of her home. She was a woman who truly lived to help others, whether through her career or her personal kindness. An avid lover of all animals, she found great joy in their company. She was never happier than when she was hosting her family, filling her home with warmth and ensuring everyone felt cared for.
Cathi is survived by her loving husband, Danny Tressillian, with whom she shared a life of love and partnership.
She is also survived by her devoted children: Robby Tressillian and his wife, Pat, Billy Tressillian and his wife, Janeen, and Lee Tressillian.
Her memory will be forever cherished by her five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, who were the lights of her life. She also leaves behind a vast host of friends, extended family, and loved ones who were touched by her generous spirit.
Cathi was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert and Annie Mae McGill.
Friends and family are invited to honor Cathi’s life on Tuesday, March 24th, at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, located at 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL. Visitation: 1:00 PM with funeral services starting at 2:00pm
