was born on February 25, 1914 and passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011. She was a member of Morris Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Fred Percy McCombs and daughter, Sharon McCombs Arnold. Cecil is survived by three daughters: Doris M. James (Charles), Jean M. Little (Jimmy), and Mary M. Crane (Harold); six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; one sister, Lucille Wilson of Philadelphia, Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express special thanks to Donna Allen, Richadine Wilson, and all of the employees of Hospice Service of Alabama who gave her excellent care and were a real blessing to her family. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Monday, October 31, 2011 from 11:00 am until noon with funeral services beginning at noon, officiated by Kip Green. Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Morris Church of Christ.
