Charles L. Coleman a resident of Fultondale, AL, was born on May 28, 1927 in Trafford, AL and he went home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2016 at the age of 88. He was a proud member of the U S Navy and the Army National Guard, a loving husband, father, uncle and friend. He was a faithful member of the East Gardendale Baptist Church and a Mason, member of the Dolcita Lodge #596, Tarrant, AL.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents John and Ola May Coleman. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Betty Handley Coleman; his son, Charles Steven Coleman and a host of family and friends who will miss him.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Saturday, January 23rd, 2016 with a visitation to begin at 1:00pm; funeral service at 2:00pm with military honors, followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
