Clairene E. Dodd

Eleanor Clairene Dodd was born on April 10, 1924 and was the daughter of a Baptist Minister. Clairene was married to Milford Erskine Dodd for 52 years. She Lived the fullest of lives until she went to meet our savior Jesus Christ on his birthday 12/25/2019. Nana, the oldest of five children lived a beautiful 95 years of life. Her survivors include; two of her three children: Yvonne Young of Moody and Sonny Dodd of Mount. Olive, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter. From coworkers, patients, family and friends those who knew her loved her. She had very loving, shy, yet out going demeanor with the most contagious of smiles even in her final days. She had a love for flowers though roses where her favorite. Clairene is proceeded in death by her husband Milford Erskine Dodd, her daughter Carolyn Suzette Barnett, and sister Eulene Kellum.

Celebration of Life Services for Nana will be Saturday, 12/28/2019 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with a time of visitation to begin at 1:00pm; service at 2:00pm followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, Alabama.
