

Clarence Bunn, age 95 passed away on Sunday, May 15th, 2016. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. He was born in Pyriton, AL and lived on Cheaha Mountain growing up. Mr. Bunn served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of WWII. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Lois Bunn; a daughter, Brenda Shelton (Garric); and his parents, Wordlaw and Minnie Bunn. He is survived by his sons, Marvin Bunn (Kay), Tarrence Bunn (Rose), Michael Bunn (Debora), Ronald Bunn, Stanley Bunn, and David Bunn (Carol); and his daughter, Clarene Smith (Larry); Grandchildren, John Bunn, Ashley Bunn, Matthew Bunn, Jay Bishop, Monty Bishop, Kira Garcia, Nicole Butler, Jesse Bunn, Justin Bunn, D.J. Bunn, Derek Bunn, Carley Bunn, Tracey McConnell, Robby McConnell, James Burgess, and Connie Moran; and seventeen great grandchildren; a brother, Pink Bunn, Jr. (Sylvia) and a sister, Sarah Ard (James).
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 17th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 6 until 8 PM. Chapel services will be Wednesday beginning at 11 AM and followed with interment in Oakwood Memorial Gardens with U.S. Army Honors.
