Clarence “Fred” Jones graced the world with his presence on May 17, 1950. Son of Mr. Levi and Mrs. Violet Jones. He was the fourth of their five children where his musical talents began to take roots. As a young man his love for this country moved him to enlist in the US Navy. While home on leave he met the beautiful love of his life Brenda. Fred expressed his love for God by volunteering his time through works at the church food pantry, various church committees and as a Shriner. Fred was blessed with a deep and wide working knowledge that brought him so much joy to share. He was a reliable friend to many, helping solve problems and giving a hand to any job needing done. Everyone knew you could always call Fred. He was always happy singing a tune, unless Bama was losing, and could light up a room with his smile. Fred loved deeply and gave freely. He saw the beauty and wonders of God’s creation in the outdoors and wildlife he admired often. On January 18, 2021 we lost a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Fred rejoined his father, his mother, brothers Andy and Travis (Linda Jones) and a host of angels in heavens band. He leaves behind his beloved wife Brenda, son Clay and Lizzy Bell, daughter Jennifer and Shannon Batesole, brother EL and Dianne Jones, Sister Ernie and Gary Wood, grandchildren Samantha and Dustin Yeager, Justin, Levi, Landon, Lena, Lydia along with a host of loving nieces and nephews. He did not leave without first instilling this, love God and your neighbor with a humble joyful heart, appreciate God’s glory in everything around you and always give Him thanks, love your family and show it daily, live life with a servants heart and always remember a cup of coffee with a Little Debby Oatmeal Cream Pie can bring a smile to anyone’s face while going through the toughest storm.
