Claude a resident of Kimberly passed away at the age of 81. He graduated Tarrant High School and he proudly served our country during the Korean Conflict as an Airman, 2ND Class in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at U.S. Pipe / Jim Walters for 34 years.
He was preceded in death by his son Fred Kevin Clay. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Frankie Holloway Clay; sons, Chuck (Susan) of Kimberly, Al, Mikey (Gail) of Odenville, AL; daughter, Cyndi Clay Patterson of Remlap, AL; daughter-in-law, Sue Clay of Menasha, WI; Sister, Betty (John) Atkins, of Fultondale, AL; granddaughters, Renee’ (Larry) Handley, Mycalee (Sandon) Stults, Chrystal (Seth) Sheppard, Michelle Clay, Katie Patterson, and Cori Clay; grandson, Taylor Patterson; great grandchildren, Olivia, Lexie, Mylee, Kaylie, Makenna, Kevin; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A graveside service will be held in Oakwood Memorial Gardens on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 2:00 PM.
