Clay has cut my hair ever since I moved back to bham from south Florida . I visited him in 4 different locations. Hc came to my house to cut my dad and brothers hair when they became disabled.
 I will miss him so much. I was blessed to have his acquaintance. His smiling face and chatter always cheered me up.
I am out of the country and will not be able to attend his service but will be there in spirit. Prayers to the family. May you know the peace that exceeds all understanding.

I remember uncle Clay by going to the lake and fishing Together . I will miss him very much.

Clay was someone whose friendship I will always treasure. If you had him as a friend, he was a friend for life. Two separate and totally different occasions he proved to be more than a great friend. Once, years ago when I was in the hospital on death's door Clay visited, annointed me with oil, prayed over me, and my prognosis turned around. The other  time was when my eldest son passed away, he called me, knowing what I was going through, as he had lost a daughter not too long before. He talked me down off a serious cliff.  He is now walking the streets of gold with our Heavenly Father. Until we meet again Clay, you will be missed.

Mr. Clay cut my hair many times in my life and was excellent at his profession. However, I will always remember him for his kindness and wisdom he was always willing to share. Mr. Clay loved his Crimson Tide, yet always was willing to talk some Auburn football with me. Over the years, Mr. Clay started to share some wisdom with me each time I was in his chair and I will be forever grateful. Mr. Clay’s deep love of Jesus, his family, and all those around him have left a mark on my life and many others.

Mr. Clay was a wonderful man! I’m at a loss for words. He cut my husband, Jim’s hair for 40+ years and our sons for 17ish. He is our friend and I miss him already.

Mr. Clay cut my hair for the first time when I was 15, approximately 42 years ago.   Over the years, we developed a friendship that blessed me immeasurably.  We talked about college football, politics, fishing and Jesus.  Clay cut my Son’s hair and it was amazing to watch him impact my Son as a young man just like he did me many years ago.  Clay Seals made an eternal impact on the lives of so many.  I’m so honored to have known such an incredible man.  Praying for his family.

You will be greatly missed and our hearts are full of regret and sadness that we lost track of your struggles with your health! You will  always be in our hearts!

The best mentor, friend, fishing buddy and barber a family ever had! We love you Mr Clay!!

Mr. Clay was my son’s barber his entire life. No one else has cut his hair for nearly 11 years. He was so much more than a barber, he was like another grandfather to him.

When Beau was little, nothing made him happier than going to play with Hot Wheels and watch The Andy Griffith Show while Mr. Clay cut his hair. Over the years, I got to know him well and always loved hearing about his daughters and grandchildren. He had a way of making Beau feel like he was the most special person he would see that day.

I can still hear him saying, “Beau… why don’t you get a haircut while you’re here? You want to?” He taught him “ladies first” with the candy bucket and even the best way to cut open and eat an ice pop.

You will be so missed, Mr. Clay. Our family loved you dearly. I only wish I had a more recent picture of you and Beau. My heart is broken, and it aches deeply for his family.
