Clorea was preceded in death by two husbands, Kenny James of Gardendale, AL, and Keith Farver of Roswell, GA (2020). She was also preceded in death by her best friend of over 50 years, Jeanette Harden of Mt. Olive (2017), who she loved dearly. Clorea was also preceded by seven siblings.
Clorea is survived by her God-Son, Chuck Harden and (Cindy), of Cullman, AL; niece, Debbie Hardiman of Mt. Olive, Alabama; great nieces, Donna Jones of Mt. Olive, AL, Brittney Harden of Gardendale, Alabama, and Shay Townes (Keith) of Cullman, Alabama; a great-nephew, Derek Hardiman of Foley, Alabama; and several other nieces and nephews.
Across the years, Clorea devoted herself faithfully to her work at the MIC Co., where she remained until retiring after many years of service. She also shared a remarkable artistic gift—expressed in paintings on canvas and in carefully crafted ceramics and porcelain. In both her creativity and her patience as a teacher, Clorea left a lasting imprint, having taught ceramics and porcelain for many years. Her beautiful work surrounded her daily life, displayed throughout her home and treasured in the homes of family and friends.
Clorea also gave generously of her time as a hostess and volunteer at the Atlanta Governor's Mansion for over 35 years, a role she thoroughly enjoyed and carried out with steady dedication.
