Alabama Music Hall of Fame Member, Craford Rooks, age 80, was born on April 1, 1933 in Moulton, AL and passed away to be with his Lord on Friday, January 10, 2014. He is survived by his loving family, Son, Craford Dexter Rooks (Wanda Brooks Rooks) and daughter, Dottie Dale Rooks Tucker; a grandson, Brandon Charles Tucker (Erin Garmon) and a granddaughter, Shandie Roeshell Summerford (Adam Clay Summerford). He was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Visitation will be Monday, January 13, 2014 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 14, at the funeral home at 11am. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Vinemont, AL with a graveside service beginning at 1 pm.
