Cynneth A. Drummond

Cynneth Ann Drummond, age 76 passed away August 9, 2020. She was born June 28, 1944 in Hartselle, Alabama to Coleman and Gladys Hill. She grew up in Hartselle until she married the love of her life Dillard and they moved to Birmingham and later moved to Gardendale. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, friend and Grandmommy and Grandma D to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even became Grandma D to many of her grandchildren's friends. She retired from Regions Bank and spent her retirement helping with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband Dillard Drummond, parents Coleman and Gladys Hill, Brother Kenneth Hill and grandson Matthew Horn.

She is survived by her daughters Selena (John) Ferguson and Cherie (Daniel) Laird

Four Grandsons Michael Ferguson, Dillard Horn, Scott Horn and Trevor Horn

Four Great-Grandchildren Kaylee Ferguson, Matthew Ferguson, Lexi Horn and Zach Horn

Sister Dyan (Gary) Foshee

Sister-in-law Katie Hill

Sister and Brother-in-Law Faye and Donnie Freeman

Nephews Kenneth Hill, Jr., Keith Hill, Miles Foshee and Chad Freeman

Nieces Karen Hill and Kim Akridge

The family would like to say a special thank you to Healing Touch Caregivers for the care they provided over the past few months.

A special thank you to Jessie Guess who provided wonderful care to our mom and became more like family than a caregiver.

A celebration of life visitation for Cynneth will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A a life well lived service will occur Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A burial will occur at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama 35071.
