Born and raised in Mount Olive, Cynthia spent her life building a warm home and a beautiful legacy in the community she loved. She dedicated years of hard work and care to her role at Brookwood Hospital, where her presence touched many lives.
Cynthia was the ultimate matriarch and the heart of her family. She had a legendary passion for gathering with family, ensuring that every single holiday was marked by a cookout or a party. In fact, her love for bringing people together was so fierce that she wasn’t above completely making up her own holidays just to get her family in the same room to share food, laughter, and love.
Above all, Cynthia’s greatest joy in life was her role as a grandmother. She absolutely adored her nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, showering them with endless love and pride.
Cynthia is survived by her loving husband, Charles David Brady; her three devoted children, Amy Dawn Holcombe LaRue, Stephanie Lynn Vereen Taylor, (Husband- Jason Taylor) and Priscilla Ann Vereen Wilson, (Husband- Craig Wilson); her nine cherished grandchildren, Destiny Taylor, Gavin Taylor, Grant Taylor, Evie Taylor, Matthew LaRue, Sara Abigayle Hogan, Chloe Archuleta, Christian Archuleta, and Cayleigh Archuleta; and her two precious great-grandchildren, Magnolia Jayms Taylor and Christopher Hogan. Her loving siblings, Jerry (Donna Jean) Holcombe, Steve Holcombe, Phillip (Donna Ray) Holcombe, Connie Holcombe, and Keith Holcombe and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Connice and Colleen Holcombe and two siblings, Mike Holcombe and Bruce Holcombe.
Cynthia’s laughter, her devotion to God and her family will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
