Cynthia Woods

Cindy is preceded in death by her husband Ronald “Ronnie” Woods, parents Edward and Catherine Henson, and her sister Deborah “Debbie” Beasley. She is survived by her daughter Amy Barnett (Stephen), son Heath Woods (Bailey), and four precious grandchildren-Preston and Addison Barnett and Ashlyn and Brynlee Woods. She is also survived by her sister Charlotte “Jizzy” Kizziah as well as many nieces, nephews, sister in laws and brother in laws.

Prior to her retirement, Cindy was a devoted employee of Penn Mutual Insurance for 25 years and ended the last ten years of her career at Bodine Inc. More recently, Cindy was a full time “Meme” and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Her family and friends were most important to her and she loved them well and was well-loved by all. She was a member of Shady Grove First Baptist Church and a graduate of West Jefferson High School.

A service will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Funeral Home, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL, on Friday, December 30 at 11:00am, with a visitation at 10:00am and graveside to follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens, 4303 Johnson Street, Adamsville.
