Daniel L. Persich, age 71 of Gardendale, Alabama, passed away on March 17, 2020. Dan was born in Peoria, Illinois to Myrtle and Andrew Persich. He attended Manual Highschool where he met the love of his life of 53 years. Dan was a Christian man and a member of Gardendale First Baptist. He served in the army as a MP. Dan loved coaching his children and may others in baseball, basketball and softball. Dan enjoyed watching and attending Bradley basketball games as well as Alabama basketball and football and many other MLB games. Dan enjoyed traveling to the mountains, watching and feeding the birds from his back porch. Dan also enjoyed taking pictures of his beloved family and nature. Dan was retired after 25+ years in the alarm industry where he enjoyed mentoring his son Andrew of Prostar Security.
Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Myrtle Persich; brother, Bobby Persich. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Wanda Persich; Sons, Shane Persich (Katherine), Andrew Persich (Jennifer); daughters, Leisa Tolbert, and Amy Persich; Grandchildren, Mariah, Montez, Chanelle, Cameron, Courtney, Ashlyn, Hunter, Cody, Kaitlyn, Cole, Harper and Addison; 4 Great grandchildren; brothers, Richard Persich (Chris), Tom Persich (Minnie), and Mike Persich. Along with a host of nieces and nephews.
