David was preceded in death by one of his grandchildren, Alexander Ramos Farley who was eight months old.
David is survived by his two daughters, Sonya Lynn Farley and her husband, Paul Edwards, Melissa Ann Farley and her husband Jimmy Lee Thompson; grandchildren, Dakota Matthew Farley, Elijah Edwards Farley, Makayla Lynn Farley, Adrianna Diane Farley, Adrian Carlos Farley, and Baylee Elizabeth Farley; many other family members and friends.
