Donald Jeffrey Mayfield, age 56 of Empire, AL passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2018. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and friend who was very much loved and will be missed. He worked with Mac Paper where he was a truck driver. Mr. Mayfield was preceded in death by his parents, James H. and Ruby Mayfield; and a nephew, Austin Mayfield. He is survived by his daughter, Morgan Mayfield (Rigo Green); granddaughters, Sylvia Skylar Green and Juliana Caprice Green; his sister, Sherri Wilson (Perry Wilson); a brother, Steve Mayfield (Annette Mayfield); niece, Shana Bainbridge (Randy); great nephew, Levi Bainbridge; great niece, Lexi Bainbridge; nephew, Timothy Mayfield; niece, Michelle Mayfield; a host of extended family and many friends.
Services will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 2 PM with a visitation one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Moncrief Cemetery.
