Donald Edward Pugh

Donald married Carol Jean Neely on July 24, 1965. They raised one son, Steven. After Carol’s passing he married Linda Fredriksen on June 27, 1993 gaining another son, Andy Lewis and daughter, Julie Lewis.

Donald retired from Jefferson County with 20 years of service. He was a member of the Sam Thomas Masonic Lodge in Morris, AL and the McCarty Lodge in Mt. Olive, AL where he was Past Master many times. He loved fishing and making walking sticks.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Rufus, his mother, Cora, his brothers, Elija, Cleo, R.C, Melvin, Arthur, Troy, and David, his sisters, Gertrude, Martha, Irene, and Wanda Faye.

Donald is survived by his wife Linda; three children Steven, Andy and Julie; his brothers, Grady, Billy Jean, and Charles; grandchild, Allysse, many other family members and a host of friends.

A graveside service for Donald will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Morris Cemetery, Morris, AL.
