Donna Guyton Burkett, of Corner was born March 15, 1952 and passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012. She earned her certification as an RHIP-CTR from Wallace State College. Survivors include her husband, Charles Burkett; daughter, Lori Abbott (Scottie); grandsons: Mason and Jake Abbott; mother, Dorothy Guyton; sisters: Sharon Pate and Jeannie Canup; and brothers: Michael and Jeff Guyton. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Corner with burial to follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
