Donnie E. Harbison

Oct 3, 1924 – Oct 21, 2016

Donnie, of Mount Olive, AL, passed away peacefully at the age of 92. She was a faithful member of the Church of God, Mount Olive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Bertha Chandler; her loving husband of 67 years, Frelon L. Harbison; a brother, Clois Chandler and a brother in law, Buddy White, and two grandchildren, Jamie and Timothy Harbison.

Donnie is survived by her sons, Frelon C. Harbison (Sandy) and Paul Harbison (Wanda); daughters, Janice Rabb (James) and Sheila Beckwith; sisters, Eloise Chandler (Howard) and Margie White, sister in law, Linda Chandler; brothers, Gradon “Chick” Chandler (Carla), Harry Lee Chandler (Wyneli); five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, many other family members and a host of friends.

Special thanks to the staff at the Magnolia Ridge Care and Rehab in Gardendale and the staff of Compassus Hospice for their care and support of Donnie.

Visitation, Monday, Oct 24th, 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral service on Tuesday, Oct 25th, at 11:00am followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL. In lieu of flowers memorials made to the Alzheimer's of Central Alabama, alzca.org.
