Don and Daun loved God, each other and life to the fullest.  They blessed all that they knew and looked for the good in everyone. I will cherish the memories of  beach devotions, sunsets and go cart races. Rest in peace, brother Don. You deserve the victory of Heaven and to be reunited with the love of your life.

I met Don and Daun at Laguna Beach. Their love story was one of a kind. They both made you feel right at home. The joy Don had for Daun was evident. He was brave to continue to join us after her passing and shared his wisdom, his unique wit, his grief, his solace in the Lord, his generosity, and so much more. He willingly shared tears of joy and sadness. I picture him in Heaven having reunited with Jesus and then Daun and other friends who went home before him and then I picture him roller skating. Fully free! He'll be missed.

Don was one of the nicest, most generous men I know.  We will all miss him greatly--especially at the beach!!
