Donzil “Don” Conner Sheridan, a resident of Pinson, AL, was born in Beckley, West Virginia on January 14, 1935 and he passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on October 31, 2017 at the age of 82. Don was a member of CenterPoint Church of the Nazarene. He loved his family dearly and cherished the time he spent with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Mary Sheridan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Delilah Sheridan; a son, Stan Sheridan (Tracy); two daughters, Karen Doty and Karla Long (Jeff); a sister, Ann McCoy; grandchildren, Nick Doty (Emily), Jake Doty (Christina), Rae Doty, Brooke Long, Brynne Long, Emma Sheridan, Macey Sheridan, and Will Sheridan; great grandchildren, McKiley Doty, Finn Doty, and Harper Doty.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Thursday, November 2, 2017 with a visitation to begin at 5:30pm followed by a funeral service at 7:00pm. Interment will be Friday at 10:00am in Bethlehem Cemetery, Trafford, Alabama with military honors.
