Elizabeth and I shared many memories from first grade at Brookside School through twelfth grade at Minor High school. We were thrilled when we found out we were two days apart in age!
Over the years of raising children and working, we stayed in touch.
Growing up I always thought she looked like Grace Kelly.
Soft spoken, kind, thoughtful, and very smart... that was Elizabeth!

We are so sad to hear the news of Liz's passing. We both worked with her at Balch & Bingham for many years. Seeing Liz would always make your day better, with her big smile and encouraging words. That sure meant a lot to us over the years. We missed her very much when she retired. Our condolences to her family -- we are so so sorry for your loss. The world is not quite as bright without Liz in it.

Liz was my secretary at Balch & Bingham for several years. Practicing law can be stressful for everyone involved but Liz had a wonderful calmness and grace about her that helped me get through the tough periods and serve our clients. I wish I had gotten to know her family better. My condolences to you. She was a strong and genuine lady.

Elizabeth suffered for so many years and she is without pain and suffering now.

She will always be remembered in Brookside, AL for all she did for the Russian Festival every November. COVID and Elizabeth's health kept her from participating in November, 2020.

I grew up across the street from Liz, Joey and Ricky, and she was practically my second mom. There were periods where I spent about as much time at their house as I did my own. She was always such a sweet lady, with a good heart and a great sense of humor. She raised her two boys into really good men, and I'm sure she was absolutely in love with her grandchildren. My heart goes out to the whole family - I know she will be missed dearly.

Elizabeth and I were in the same homeroom from the 9th to the 12th grade at Minor. She was always such a genuinely sweet person, so smart, so kind and such a hard worker. I will miss her.
