Ethel Vlahakes Graham of Fultondale, AL passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the age of 94. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was very much loved and will be missed. Ethel was of the Greek Orthodox faith and had worked in her family restaurant business for years before retirement. Later, she decided to go back to work and worked in food services with Carraway Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Charles L. Graham, Sr; her brothers, John, Nick, George, and Jim Vlahakes. Ethel is survived by her son, Charles L. Graham, Jr. and his wife Lynn; a brother, Pete Vlahakes; her sister, Cecelia; grandchildren, Kylee Eaves (Wes), David Mariotti (Julie), and Michael Mariotti; and great grandchildren, Ella Eaves and Jeffrey Mariotti.
Services will be held on Friday, December 1st at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
