My aunt Evelyn was a beautifully wonderful person in every way. Perhaps the mark of a amazing human is their ability to make you feel special as if you are the only one they know. Aunt Evelyn was like that, she had hundreds of friends and family members but when she talked to you she made you feel special; like the only person around. Even with her spankings( just a few that were well deserved) I knew she loved me. Her impact on the world around her will live on positively in the lives of all who knew and loved her. I look forward to the moments when she and other family members meet me in the perfect world God has created for those who love Him and his Son Christ Jesus. Nephew: Art Hyde

I am so sorry to hear about Evelyn’s passing. I thought the world of her...she was such a good friend to my daddy, I’m sure he drove her crazy sometimes...lol Evelyn and Gene were camping buddies with mother and daddy, they had lots of good times together. I hope they are all sitting around a campfire. I’m so sorry I can’t be there but am sending you all love and prayers ❤️

We love Aunt Evelyn, and are comforted by the fact that she loved our Lord, and she is with him, and at peace. Evelyn and Gene blessed us in so many ways over so many years. We still have Irises that came from Evelyn's garden. We always loved visiting with Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Gene. Wonderful people. Godly people who always made us feel special!! She will be missed. Sorry that we can't travel mid-week to be with you! Our love to all the family!
