

Brad is preceded in his death by his father, Everett Odell Bradford of Hayden (98), and Sophia Anne Hill (Bradford), also of Hayden (89). He is survived by his son Zane Scott Bradford and his grandson Alexander Michael Bradford of Roswell, Georgia.
Mr. Bradford grew up on a farm with his parents in Hayden (Blount County), Alabama, and was a 1954 graduate of Hayden High School. He enjoyed drama and art while in high school, and received his airplane pilots license shortly after graduating. He was also an Alabama State Trooper for a brief period, but worked in sales for most of his career, becoming well known in the aftermarket automotive parts industry throughout Alabama. Brad was an automotive enthusiast, and enjoyed traveling, socializing with close friends, was an ardent fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, and was a loving and supportive father, grandfather, and husband during his lifetime.
A viewing and celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel in Gardendale. Afterward, a burial ceremony will be held for Mr. Bradford at 2:00 PM at Sulphur Springs Cemetery, 3480 Rickwood Cavern Road, Hayden, AL 35079, adjacent to Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, 1.1 miles west of exit 289 off of I-65 north.
