Francine Stryker Atcheson

September 25, 1946 – September 18, 2015

Francine, a resident of Birmingham, AL, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 68. She was born in Long Island, NY, and grew up in Norwood and graduated from Phillips High School. She loved her family, her job at IMS and all of her friends, especially those at her church, First Baptist Church Center Point. She was a loyal Alabama Fan and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren the most.

Francine was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Frances Stryker; brothers, Gary Stryker and Jimmy Stryker. She is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Atcheson; sons, Bo Mundy (Shannon), Chris Mundy (Amanda), David Atcheson, and Mike Atcheson; sister, Orlean Bruce; grandchildren, Katie Mundy, Jack Mundy, Summer Mundy, Holden Hess and Jackson Hess; nieces, Courtney Hale, Lindsey Pourciau, Kelly Bruce; nephew, Johnny Bruce and a host of friends.

Services will be at the First Baptist Church Center Point on Wednesday, Sept 23rd, 2015 with a visitation to begin at 9:00 am; memorial service at 10:00 am followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL at 12:00 pm. Services will be officiated by Rev. David Haynes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to First Baptist Church Center Point, 1945 Center Point Parkway, Center Point, Alabama 35215.
