

Frank A. Tortorici, Sr., a resident of CenterPoint, Alabama was born in Birmingham, Alabama on February 7, 1948 and he passed away peacefully at his home, on December 14, 2017 at the age of 69. Frank had a long career in sales and drove a school bus after his retirement. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and he was a Past President of the Elks Lodge no. 79. Frank loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them. He was an avid Alabama Fan and the family request that those attending the services please dress in Alabama attire or dress casual in his honor.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Toney J. and Mary E. Tortorici and his loving wife of 47 years, Mary D. Tortorici.
Frank is survived by his sons, Frank A. Tortorici, Jr. and Christopher Michael Tortorici (Debbie); his daughter, Lee Ann Wright (Lester); his brother, James Pete Tortorici (Carol); three grandchildren, Elizabeth Michelle Tortorici, Christian Michael Tortorici, and Jeremy Matthew Peterson; one great grandchild, Lily Pearl Peterson; a nephew, Kevin Tortorici; a niece, Toni Dollar, and a host of friends and family.
A visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 980 Huffman Rd, Center Point, AL, followed by his burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
