We are so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. My husband Tom & I have been friends with him for many, many years. We worshiped with him at Fultondale in the past and currently at North Gardendale. He was a dear, sweet man, and was always so kind to us. We always looked forward to seeing his smiling face. We are sorry we were unable to attend his funeral as my husband had surgery recently. We are thinking of all of you, and praying for your peace and comfort. Fred was a good and faithful Christian, and this gives us great comfort as I know it does you. Tom & Betty Gowen

Your Dad was a 1st cousin to my Mom, Margie Lee he also was close to my Dad, Milton Lee. They called & talked to each other all the time. After my Mom passed away in 2017, he would go to Cullman & stay with my Dad some to help me out before I eventually had to move him to Nashville. But, they really had a great time!! My Dad still talks about it & is very upset to hear of his passing. He actually tried to call him on Sunday. I appreciate so much what all your Dad did to help me & my Dad out. He was loved so much by all of us!! I'm so sorry we couldn't make it to the service today, but just know you are all in our thoughts & prayers!
