Our precious, sweet, Pastor, teacher, friend. So very many of us learned so much from him through his preaching, teaching, emails and Bible studies. I can see him rejoicing in heaven right now because I witnessed his rejoicing here below for all that Jesus did for us. He LOVED Jesus and always excited to preach The Word. I feel sorrow for family he left behind, but I rejoice in his 'homegoing'. I am so thankful I got to know him.

Rev. Owens was a wonderful pastor and was very instrumental in my becoming a Christian. He was such a sweet man and I will never forget him. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

This dear precious man will always hold a special place in my heart when my first son was born way back in 2001 this precious man came and stayed by our side and prayed for us and was there up until the very minute of my sons appearance. iIt was so almost comical because if we did not say anything he probably would’ve stayed in there through the whole birthing process. Lol such a wonderful kind hearted man that was full of the Holy Spirit and loved others with all of his heart this man will truly be missed but he is finally home with his Lord and Savior rest well brother Garland.
