Gary Ross Cochran, age 58, of Hayden, Alabama, born January 3, 1966, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024.
Gary, a resident of Hayden, AL went home to be with the Lord at the age of 58. Gary was known as a hard worker and a humble servant to anyone in need. After graduating from Mortimer Jordan High School, he was employed by Jefferson County for 25 years. He is preceded in death by his father, George H. Cochran and his mother-in-law, Peggy Wright Cottingham. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kristi Cottingham Cochran; sons, Ross Cochran (Bailey) and Ryan Cochran (Clara); his mother, Nelta Busby (Allen); father-in-law, Dr. Sid Cottingham (Billie); grandsons, Cole and Noah, and host of other family members and friends. Services directed by Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with visitation at the CrossRoads Baptist Church on Highway 160, Hayden, AL on Wednesday, July 10th from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm with a funeral to begin at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery in Morris, AL.
