Gertrude Elizabeth Miller, age 83 of Graysville passed away Friday, July 22, 2011. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Miller James; parents: Mr. & Mrs. Walter Sharp and brother, James Sharpe. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, John Dempsey Miller; daughter, Sylvia Miller Sheelor; son, Johnny Dwight Miller; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; brother, William Sharp; caregiver and nieces, Glenda Glass, Carol Roberts; nephew, Ronnie Sharpe and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Gertrude was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2011 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
